Photo, Printing & Digitizing Services in Wakefield, RI

Framing is only part of what we do. Our in-house photo scanning service covers individual photos, newspaper articles and documents, which we can then edit, restore and print — typically to be custom framed afterward.

This is different from media digitizing, which means converting VHS tapes, film reels, slides and audio formats. We handle that in partnership with Charter Oak Scanning. Both services live under this section, but they're separate processes, and it's worth knowing which one you need.

Media Digitizing Through Charter Oak Scanning

A Piece We're Proud Of

A customer brought in a photo of her husband with their daughter to be restored and reprinted as a gift for him. Once we restored the image and removed a distracting stop sign from the background, we framed it alongside a matching photo of him with his granddaughter. Two generations, side by side, in one piece. It was such a special project.

Why People Come to Us

Most often, customers bring us old, damaged photos — torn, faded, or stuck to glass or an album page. We also regularly handle large printing jobs for wakes and funeral services: portraits in a range of sizes, matching frames, and collages honoring a life. These are usually needed quickly, and we understand that.

One Shop, Start to Finish

Many customers come in with a damaged photograph and leave with it restored, reprinted and custom framed. Handling all three steps in one place means no shipping, no lost originals, and one person accountable for the result.

Your original photos are always returned to you.

Common Questions

How long does restoration or printing take?

Restoration and printing typically take 1 to 2 weeks. Media digitizing runs 1 to 3 weeks depending on the size of the order.

How is pricing handled?

We quote pricing in person after seeing your originals, rather than over the phone, so we can give you an accurate estimate rather than a guess.

Will I get my originals back?

Yes, always. Original photos are returned to you, and for media digitizing your tapes and reels come back along with the digital files.

Can you frame the finished piece?

Yes, and most customers do. Restoration, printing and custom framing are all handled here.

Do I need an appointment?

No. We're a walk-in shop, though appointments are available if you'd prefer a set time.
