Custom Jersey Framing in Wakefield, RI

We offer full jersey framing, as well as combination displays that bring a jersey together with photos, objects and keepsakes from an athletic experience or career. We use mounting methods that do not harm the jersey, so the garment stays protected for display.

A Piece We're Proud Of

A customer came in proud of his cycling achievements. We created two pieces incorporating the jerseys he wore when winning two Florida State Race Championships, along with his medals, photos, and race results. He was thrilled with the result.

What to Know Before Framing a Jersey

  • Fabric and Weight: A jersey is heavier than it looks, particularly with sewn-on twill numbering, and that weight pulls continuously downward once mounted. Support has to be distributed across the garment rather than concentrated at the shoulders, or the fabric will distort over time.
  • Presentation: Most jerseys are displayed either fully flat or folded to bring the number and nameplate forward. The choice affects the finished dimensions considerably, and a full flat presentation produces a substantially larger piece than most people expect. It's worth measuring your intended wall before settling on an approach.
  • Signatures: Autographs on fabric are more vulnerable than most people realize. Ink from a standard marker fades under light exposure, and on synthetic athletic fabric it can also migrate slightly into the weave. UV-filtering glazing and a location out of direct sunlight both meaningfully extend how long a signature stays crisp.
  • Before You Bring It In: Bring the jersey clean but unpressed, and bring any related items you might want included even if you're undecided. It's far easier to design around the full set and edit down than to add something after the layout is set.

Every Layout Is Custom

We don't have a single go-to style for jersey and photo combination pieces. Depending on what you bring in and what matters most to you — the number, the logo, a particular photograph — we'll walk you through design options tailored to your project. Our gallery has many examples of different approaches.

Preserving a Signed Jersey

Signatures fade under light considerably faster than most people expect. For autographed jerseys we recommend UV-protective glazing and conservation framing materials to keep the ink legible for the long term.

Common Questions About Jersey Framing

How long does jersey framing take?

A typical jersey framing project takes 3 to 4 weeks. If it's tied to a banquet, graduation or gift date, tell us at drop-off and we'll confirm the timeline.

How much does it cost?

Jersey display cases are priced by size, depth and glazing. Adding photos or memorabilia increases the size and therefore the cost. We quote at your consultation, at no charge.

Can the jersey be removed later?

We use mounting methods that don't harm the jersey, so the garment stays in good condition inside the display.

Do you frame youth and high school jerseys?

Yes. Youth and school sports jerseys are often framed as graduation or end-of-season gifts.

Can you include medals and photos with the jersey?

Yes, and it's one of our favorite kinds of project. Combination pieces with medals, race results, photographs and other memorabilia tell a fuller story than the jersey alone.
